We are pleased to invite you to attend the11th International Symposium on Biocontrol and Biotechnology which will be held at Faculty of Agriculture and Institute of Graduate studies and Researches, Alexandria, Egypt on October 1-4, 2013. A lot of research activities in the areas of Biocontrol and Biotechnology have been carried out in various parts of the world including developing countries such as Egypt. This international symposium which is being held every year will be a forum for scientists and researchers from different countries to share their views and discuss on their advanced research work in these areas.

Tentative program

Day 1: (October 1, 2013): Registration

          Opening session in Alexandria Library - Tour in Alexandria Library

Day 2: (October 2, 2013): Plenary session and Oral session, Welcome reception

Day 3: (October 3, 2013): Poster session and free discussion, Closing session

Day 4: (October 4, 2013): City tour to visit Roman theater ,  Quait Bay castle, and Alexandria Museum 

Optional trip to Cairo to visit Pyramids, Solar Ships museum and Sphinx area, Lunch at Nile Cruise, Al-Hussein Mosque and Khan el-Khalili area  (Trip cost is 50 US dollars/person).

Deadline of abstract and full paper submission Extended to September 14, 2013

Call for papers
Prospective authors of oral and poster presentations are invited to submit abstracts in English for consideration before August 31, 2013.  Abstracts (less than 300 words) and full papers (maximum 5 pages) should be submitted by electronic mail to [email protected].com
  For poster presentation, please use A0 size (80x120cm).


Submission of full paper will be reviewed by peer reviewers. Early submitted full papers will be published in symposium proceedings and the rest of selected full paper will be published in KMITL Science and Technology Journalhttp://www.kmitl.ac.th/ejkmitl
